The University of St Gobain trained 100 people in 2023 as part of the Impact + program on resilience and scenario planning thanks to the Serious Game Future Shock. Saint-Gobain, world leader in sustainable construction, develops, produces and distributes materials and services for the housing and industrial markets. The company's solutions contribute to the sustainability and performance of construction and industry, while aiming for carbon neutrality by 20501.
Preparing for Future Challenges
The Brightness Serious Game "Future Shock", helps to prepare for future challenges in an unstable geopolitical and economic context. The game was designed to enable participants to work in teams, strategize in the face of potential crises, and present their solutions to a demanding client. This was achieved through strategy workshops and game sessions, pitches and syntheses, which enabled enriching interaction and a better understanding of possible crisis scenarios.

Project implementation
The project was managed from conception to implementation, with a well-structured program. Prior to the play session, teams were given a play folder to familiarize themselves with the scenario. The game session, lasting 7 hours, included scenario presentations, game sessions, interaction activities, pitches and summaries. These activities were designed to help teams become acculturated to uncertainty management through play, while reinforcing their ability to anticipate and react effectively to complex and uncertain situations.
