KPMG

An original, immersive off-site about trust

The brief

KPMG Advisory wanted to organize its annual off-site gathering of 180 partners in a natural setting, conducive to reflection and creativity, but also imbued with a new dynamic. The aim was to evolve this often classic event, making it simpler, more original and inspiring, while aligning discussions around a central theme: trust.

The concept: simplicity and immersion

KPMG entrusted Brightness with the mission of rethinking the event to meet these new challenges. The agency came up with a concept combining inspiration and immersion, with a selection of unique speakers and collaborative workshops to help us look to the future with confidence.

The Grand Pavillon de Chantilly, a venue close to Paris, was chosen to host this event, allowing participants to disconnect from everyday life while encouraging authentic exchanges in a rejuvenating environment.

Outstanding speakers

To address the theme of trust, Brightness invited a series of inspiring speakers with unexpected profiles. In addition to traditional talks, KPMG's partners were confronted with offbeat angles:

  • A neuroscientist to understand the brain mechanisms behind confidence.

  • A RAID negotiator, specializing in crisis management, to explore trust in the most critical moments.

  • An ultra-marathoner, used to pushing the limits of human endurance in extreme races, to illustrate how self-confidence is built in the face of adversity.

  • A former top sportsman shares lessons in leadership and resilience.

These interventions offered a unique perspective on how to build and maintain trust, whether with oneself, within teams, or in customer relationships.

Collaborative workshops: imagining the future with confidence

In addition to the conferences, small-group foresight workshops were organized to enable partners to think collectively about the future of the sector and how KPMG can strengthen confidence in an uncertain economic environment. These co-creative moments were essential in enabling everyone to leave with concrete ideas and a shared vision.

An event in the image of KPMG: bold and inspiring

The result? An off-site event that left a lasting impression, combining simplicity, originality and depth. Thanks to the support of Brightness, KPMG succeeded in organizing an event that was off the beaten track, bringing a new dynamic to the company and strengthening links between its partners, while boldly tackling the central theme of trust.

This project shows how a well-designed event can be a powerful lever for inspiring and uniting teams around strong values and shared challenges.
