Brightness agency energizes GSF's annual convention

For its latest convention, GSF called on Brightness' expertise to reinvent part of the event's format. The aim: to highlight success stories from the field by giving the floor to facility managers, who are often at the heart of the group's successes, but rarely take center stage.

A French company founded in 1963, GSF is one of the undisputed leaders in the cleaning and services sector in France. With a constant ambition for excellence, it supports its customers through a wide range of services that go far beyond simple cleaning, such as internal logistics, reception, and even green space management. With over 42,000 employees at 159 sites throughout France, the group generated sales of over 1.2 billion euros in 2023, with growth of 7.5% and a customer loyalty rate of 95%.

A new format for greater impact

Brightness worked closely with GSF's communications department to structure a key sequence of the convention. Rather than following the traditional format, the innovative idea was to invite a dozen site managers to pitch their best success stories in 5 minutes to their peers, in the prestigious setting of the Marriott Hotel in Cannes. This approach created a direct and authentic link between the field and the management team, while promoting local initiatives.

Customized support

The agency didn't just set up the concept, it also coached these managers in the preparation of their speeches: helping them to structure their pitch, master public speaking and fine-tune their performance right up to the big day... The support went far beyond simple coaching, with a particular focus on staging and editorial and technical coordination, guaranteeing punchy, well-paced speeches. Once on site, the Brightness teams were even invited, at the last minute, to lead the dress rehearsal for the first part of the convention, bringing together all the general management, to provide advice and expertise to the speakers.

A collective success

The result lived up to expectations: not only did the managers present their successes brilliantly, but they also embodied the spirit of innovation and commitment that drives GSF on a daily basis. This dynamic format not only strengthened the pride of the teams, but also aroused the enthusiasm of the participants, consolidating the idea that every contribution, from the field to management, is essential to the collective success of the Group.
