CAC 40 GROUP
New deal of work - Brightness helps define the new strategy of the Learning entity of a major CAC40 group
Since 2021, Brightness has been supporting a prestigious CAC 40 group in the development and implementation of a strategy to strengthen the continuous learning culture within the group. This group, a major player in the luxury sector, has over 47,000 employees worldwide spread across various iconic fashion, leather goods and jewelry brands, also known as "Maisons".
As part of the strategy development process, Brightness teams helped to develop a diagnosis by carrying out a series of interviews with key employees from the various entities. This step laid the foundations for the strategy to be implemented. The 3 axes of this strategy were to better structure the existing offer to make it clearer and more legible, to work on the culture to make learning agility accessible to all, and to reinforce the quality of the experience for all employees, whether for digital tools or face-to-face programs.
To support the second pillar on developing a learning culture, Brightness teams and the Group's Learning department designed and produced the very first Global Learning Day, a hybrid event that brought together all the Group's brands around a common theme: "Build your skills, build your future".
Objective
Diagnose, develop and anchor a learning corporate culture within an international, multicultural group.
GLOBAL LEARNING DAY event
The main aim of this Global Learning Day was to generate a sense of shared pride within the Group. This internal event highlighted the prestigious learning programs offered by the Group, as well as internal reflections and success stories. The aim was also to integrate innovative perspectives from outside the company, such as the positive impact of constraints and the importance of cultivating curiosity at work. Brightness played a key role in creating innovative and diverse digital programming. This live broadcast was the central element of the event, which was open to all group employees.
For almost half a year, the Brightness teams designed and led workshops for the Group's Learning contacts from different houses, departments and markets. Based on a rigorous co-creation methodology, we developed versatile programming to meet the specific needs of each brand. Our aim was to offer relevant content that would engage the interest of employees with varied profiles, despite their busy schedules, and encourage them to log on to the virtual platform.
Our scope
More concretely, Brightness teams were mobilized alongside partner customer teams to :
- Define session formats (panels, en passant performances, unconferences...)
- Definition of structure and script for plenary sessions
- Sourcing speakers and external service providers
- Design of a group-wide call for applications/competition to identify internal contributors
- TED-style training in public speaking and slide design
- UI recommendations, virtual platform customization, parameterization follow-up
- Production, editing and dressing of pre-recorded sequences
- Technical production, set design and live broadcasting
Results
Hosted by an experienced journalist and featuring a mix of opinion leaders, industry specialists and external speakers, the hybrid event was a resounding success.
Over 4,500 employees logged on to the virtual platform during the event, and the overall satisfaction score from participants was 4.23/5.
This event was enriched by a Masterclass entitled "Unlock your Future", focusing on the notion of "learning to learn", delivered by in-house ambassadors face-to-face in 25 cities around the world and in 16 different languages, reaching over 3,700 employees. In addition, each subsidiary took advantage of the day to implement specific training programs tailored to their employees and in line with local issues. In all, more than 15,000 participants took part in the event.
The company intends to make this an annual event for all its companies and regions, and to pursue its learning approach.
