BIEF
French Week - Raising the profile of French publishing abroad
In a context of health crisis and strong constraints of social distancing, the BIEF called upon Brightness to conceive and organise the "French Week", an operation allowing French publishing to shine internationally by creating an attractive event allowing French and foreign publishers to meet, virtually, around 5 major meetings, each one dedicated to a publishing sector.
More than just a dematerialised book fair, French Week facilitated, for almost two weeks, meetings and appointments between French and foreign publishers from all over the world thanks to an adapted and editorialized platform through short videos featuring discussions between booksellers and publishers, giving all the trends and keys to reading the French publishing market.
Our scope
Beyond the conception of this innovative event for an industry strongly anchored in reality, we recommended a platform adapted to the specific needs of the BIEF and accompanied them in the definition of the format of the event and the editorialization of the opening videos of the days staging discussions around the major trends of the publishing market in the sectors of literature, youth, non-fiction and humanities, comics and "practical" books.
Production of the videos and subtitles, graphic design, design and administration of the platform, the Brightness teams worked with the BIEF teams to make this event a real success.
