TEDxParis 2009: The first TEDx conference in France and Europe!

TEDxParis is the first licensed TEDx event in France and Europe. The event was organised on 28 May 2009 by the team that a few years later came together to create the Brightness agency. TED is the prestigious conference organised each year in the United States that allows brilliant and iconoclastic minds to share their visions on various subjects.

The TEDxParis experience was created to allow the French public to (re)discover the TED format and values in an intimate and interactive setting. The programme: Throughout the evening, there were debates and screenings of TED talks. Each participant was able to participate in the debate and exchange with the expert guests. The aim of TEDxParis was to promote "ideas worth spreading" and to stimulate reflection and action on important issues facing our world today.
