GROUP TRAINING
Duration
1 day
Number of participants
10 maximum
Objective
Master the art of the talk.
Method
Brightness is an accredited training organisation and offers a one-day training course, divided into two modules, which is both methodological and practical.
Morning
This first module is identical to the half-day "Basics of Talk". After the masterclass "The Art of Talk", which deals with the Brightness method from a theoretical point of view, the participants discuss with the trainer the best ways to incorporate this method into their daily professional lives. They are then invited to exercise their critical eye during a session of viewing talks. Finally, the morning ends with a short exercise to put the construction of a talk into practice: defining the message.
Afternoon
This second module is devoted to putting into practice what was seen in the morning. The participants are invited to take turns presenting a 3-minute talk* in front of the trainer and the other participants. Following each speaker's presentation, the public speaking trainer gives advice (both on content and form) and encouragement during a personalised debriefing. On this basis, the participants then work in pairs on their speech with a view to a second run-through, like a pitch competition!
Prerequisite: the preparation of a 3-minute pitch prepared before the training (without slides) following the recommendations given by Brightness (1 week before the training).
